Tulip Time Festival is celebrated each year with the display of millions of tulips and as well as celebration of Dutch heritage and culture. According to Wikipedia, the festival has been observed since 1929 (that long huh!) and the celebration usually starts at the first Saturday of May until the second Saturday.
Garry took few pictures of lots and lots and lots and lots of tulips (hehehe). It’s actually a farm of tulips. And it’s so beautiful.
Garry used only his phone, Sony Ericsson K800i to take these pictures, and I must say, the quality of the pictures was good, even on macro. Here’s a sample.
They don’t only have tulips there, they also have like a
The smith and a lady milking.
This is a reenactment of, I guess, a battle that happened long long time ago.
And they also have a Windmill. And here you have now a picture of Garry in front of a windmill. You could actually go inside and go up until the reefing stage.
I really enjoyed watching the pictures. I like tulips, specially the blue ones (I like blue, we both actually love blue. hehe)
