Here’s the story.
Garry and I see to it that we could talk and see each other once or twice a day. The usual time we can do that is before I leave for work (before he sleeps at night) and before I sleep at night (before he goes to work).
Just this morning, the usual thing happened. We talked as soon as I woke up, after which, I took a bath, get dressed and continue with chatting. As I about to leave, he said that he will call me at the office around 10:30 this morning. I asked why because it’s unusual of him to call considering that we’re just about to end our conversation. And he said boyishly, “dili d ay ka ganahan tawag ko?” (Don’t you like me to call you?). Oh well, I guess you already know what would be my answer (hehehe). Though I did not let it get into my mind ‘coz I just thought he’s just fooling around.
At work, we somehow extend our chit chats. At around 10:30, my office phone rang. At the back of my head, I hoped that it would be him calling, but I know when it’s a long distance call or just an internal call (from inside the company). So I answered it and indeed it was from the guardian’s office. The guardian said that there’s a delivery for me. I thought that it was just from my credit card company. Before I went out, I left a message for Garry through Yahoo! Beta that I will be going outside to pick up something. I intended to tell him that because, as what I’ve said earlier, still at the back of my head, i hoped he’d call. So I went outside, I saw a guy bringing something colorful. The guardian pointed the man that was holding it. I went to him, he asked my name and let me signed a paper. And then he gave me the bouquet of flowers. And here it is.
As for the title of this entry, I gave credit to Garry for I just quoted a portion of the message he sent with the flowers. I really liked what he wrote and I really adore the flowers. For you to know, he gave me colored blue roses. He knows that I like those. I just love the flowers he gave me. You might be wondering why he gave me flowers, well, it’s a special day for us. It's not like an anniversary or such, but it's just special. To Garry, thank you so much. The thought really means a lot.
And that is why I had an extraordinary and happy day.
Thank you to a very special man.
Thank you for letting me feel you're near even afar.
