Mambukal Mountain Resort

I got to spend few days at the City of Smiles last year with Garry and his family. I spent post Christmas there. The highlight of my short vacation was to attend his cousin’s wedding “Ate Pangging”.

The next stop, Mambukal Mountain Resort, it’s a must see whenever you drop by in Bacolod City. You can observe and do lots of stuff there. It’s located at Minoyan, Murcia, Bacolod City. Mambukal have Hot Springs with sulfuric soda water.

As you walk along the slopes of the mountain you will admire the green forest.

There you could also stretch your legs and arm while wall climbing but unfortunately it's not open that time so we just took some pictures.

Butterfly Garden known for its delicately designed interior not only has attractive butterflies but collections of unique small animals/insects.

You could also view various bats species on tree branches.


The mountain stream at the back of MJ and Chin2x flows down to the Boating Lagoon where you could go boating for an affordable rate.


Mambukal is also known for its majestic falls, but unfortunately the weather that time was not that good for us to go up to witness the majestic falls. Perhaps, next time.

You could also enjoy there swimming in a big pool for kids and adult.
It was a pleasant experience and i will absolutely go back if there's a chance.
