“Separate" because we are in different continents with more or less 12-hour time difference. But even through that such great distance, it did not keep us from sharing our lives together.
Hence the title, "Abridge the Distance", it means, to shorten the distance while retaining essential elements of being together.
We came from different regions. Garry is a Hiligaynon from BacolodCity, "City of Smiles" and i'm (a.k.a. Yani) a Bisaya from Lanao del Norte, "The Land of Beauty and Bounty". We met in Cebu and we used to work at the same company as Software Engineers. And there it all started.
